The web design assignment taught me quite a few skills that can be used both educationally and otherwise. For one, I now understand the google calendar user interface and how to post it and make it available to view. I messed this up at first and fixed it later, which thankfully brought my grade back up, so out of all the things I did, this one is probably the one I am the most likely to remember. Another skill I learned was how to entice younger viewers to education related fun. The idea behind the site was to make learning fun for the students by incorporating very little educational syntax on the individual game pages. I believe this would be effective in an educational setting.

In honesty, Diigo isn't the most complicated program in the world, and there are numerous educational websites out there like Diigo that I have used in the past. To say I learned much from using it would be a bit gratuitous. Rather, I refined my communication skills when they were put under the scrutiny of both the class and otherwise. I believe this system would be useful in an educational environment as well as a professional one if utilized the same way it was in class.
The participation portfolio, if we're speaking honestly, was a bit of a drag. The assignments focused in on using the tools were either the best or the worst in the course. I enjoyed the Diigo focused ones, as they usually followed a similar format to one another. However, when involving social media, I found it to be less so. Using my personal twitter account to post class materials was likely confusing for my followers, and had I made a separate account, then I might accidentally post personal information on that instead of the original. I wouldn't recommend its use in the future.
Teacher participation in and organization of technology is essential for students in the modern educational hemisphere. Not only do most assignments these days require the use of a personal computer, but they also can feel limiting to a child that doesn't understand the system they are working with. Therefore, having resources on hand school to school is incredibly important on a student to student basis. One of the ways one can accomplish this is by paying attention to available student resources, which can be noted from the site below:
